CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Apple has launched the iPhone Duo, its inaugural foldable iPhone model, with U.S. prices starting at $1,999. The company revealed the device on Sept. 9 at its Cupertino headquarters. Apple CEO John Ternus introduced the new device as part of the latest hardware lineup. Preorders will commence on Oct. 16 across more than 70 countries and regions, with the first units arriving at customers and stores on Oct. 23.

Featuring a book-style design, the iPhone Duo incorporates two Super Retina XDR displays. When closed, a 5.4-inch screen handles everyday phone functions. Users can run two apps side-by-side and save preferred app pairings. When open, the phone can display two Home Screen pages simultaneously. Touch ID is integrated into the side button, allowing biometric authentication in both configurations.
